Access to Work is a UK government scheme that provides financial and practical support to help people with disabilities or health conditions start or stay in work. It offers grants to cover the cost of workplace adjustments, such as specialist equipment, adaptations, travel support, or personal assistance. The scheme is designed to complement an employer’s legal duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010. Eligibility depends on employment status, the nature of the disability, and the type of support required. Access to Work aims to remove workplace barriers and promote inclusive employment.
Supporting employees with Access to Work, can promote inclusivity, strengthens business reputation, and supports recruitment strategies. By raising awareness, employers attract diverse talent, enhance productivity, and create a more supportive workplace, leading to better morale and lower staff turnover.
Workshops can be delivered in a variety of formats and depth, starting from £499 (+ vat).
Encourage your team to take a break and learn with our engaging 30-minute online sessions. Participants will learn strategies for supporting neurodiverse teams, including conflict management, and engage with case studies and breakout exercises. The workshop also includes an action plan for managers to implement in their teams, and a free manager clinic following the session for additional support. A shorter version without breakout exercises is also available, with the full workshop priced at £1399 (+vat).
