New data suggests that 15% to 20% of the population may be neurodivergent – up from estimates of 5% to 10% just five years ago. This shift underscores the critical need for employers to broaden the horizons of their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts to encompass neuro-inclusion
Half of neurodivergent employees have taken time off work due to their neurodivergence, a 5% rise from last year, according to City & Guilds’ Neurodiversity Index. The report also found that 36% received no workplace support, and 18% didn’t know where to seek help.
