Mentors/Work Experience Coach

Do you have experience in business administration and great organisation skills.
Our directors, Lucy & Rich are looking for a personal assistant to help them become more efficient and free them up to develop and grow their social enterprise. You will have a natural talent for organisation and be able to communicate with many different people.
This will be a varied and interesting role which will allow you to gain experience in a growing social enterprise with great ambition.

Marketing & Communications Assistant
Do you have a marketing qualification but would like to gain practical experience in an ethical and innovative organisation?
We are seeking a marketing and communications assistant to help us raise awareness of our Brands. You will be work with our management team to develop and implement online & offline marketing campaigns to help raise awareness of Inclusive Change and Your Village Shop.
This role would ideally suit a college leaver or graduate looking for a paid role to gain lots of experience with a flexible and supportive employer.

Inclusive Change At Work C.I.C aims to create a supportive work experience programme for young people aged 14 and over who are neuro-divergent. We aim to pilot our programme in 2021 and are looking for adults who will be able to mentors and support young people within our working environment.
You will be able to work at Your Village Shop and familiarise yourself with our team, processes and environment so that you can support a young person in the workplace. You will have an understanding and awareness of autism and be prepared to work with a range of individuals with different needs as a supportive mentor helping to break down barriers to employment.
Our programme will be unique and tailored to each young person so we are looking for unique mentors to help achieve our ambitions to improve opportunities for young people who are neuro-divergent.
This role is currently freelance/self employed as we pilot and develop our programme. Hours will be flexible and variable.

Your Village Shop is an independent shop based in Stoke Gifford Retirement Village. First opened in March 2020 we are now looking expand our team to allow us to open additional hours.
Our team is an important part of a family business and everyone has a part to play in our ambitions to make a difference. We are community focussed and offer a high level of customer service for diverse customer base. Your Village Shop is an Extra Help shop where we want to help people feel safe shopping. People who would find it difficult to shop independently are able to do so in Your Village Shop, where we provide support and help whenever it is needed.
Your Village Shop is a community shop which is independent and able to react to customer needs. We stock a wide range of products - from groceries to disability aids, unique artwork to handmade soaps. We pride ourselves on our independence and community impact.
As a supervisor/team leader you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the shop. Working with a team you will be able to support customers and staff, solving problems and keeping the shop running on a day to day basis. You will be able to contribute with your ideas and help develop and shape the store as we grow and begin to serve a wider community.
We aim to be an autism and dementia friendly shop for employees and customers so it is important that you are empathetic and understanding and prepared to look at things from different perspectives.
Hours will be varied but we promote a positive work life balance and prefer our team leaders to work a 4 day week. This role will involve working outside of school hours and you must be able to work during school holidays.
