South Gloucestershire Council

Post 16 SEND Transitions Evening

April 16, 20251 min read

Last week, Inclusive Change were delighted to take part in the Post-16 SEND Transitions Evening, hosted by South Gloucestershire Council at the Olympus Theatre in Filton. The event brought together young people with special educational needs and disabilities, their families, and a wide range of education providers, local services, and charities.

Lucy gave a short talk on the three questions she’s most often asked by parents about work and post-16 options. We also had some brilliant conversations with families, carers, and professionals about pathways into employment, supported internships, and building confidence for the future.

If you’d like to get in touch or take a look at the slides from Lucy’s talk, just follow the link below:

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, it was great to meet you!
