Speaker
I'm Becca, a passionate advocate for neurodiversity and understanding ADHD in the workplace. Living with ADHD (combined presentation) myself, I bring a unique blend of professional experiences and personal insights to the conversation about creating inclusive, productive work environments. Equity in the workplace is especially important for us as neurodiverse folk; if given the adjustments and support we need, we can not only survive, but thrive at work.
My career path has been varied, in true ADHD style! From my early days in customer relations to roles in sales and account management, I've always excelled in building relationships and understanding people's needs. My time at a FTSE 100 bank gave me a solid foundation for navigating large organisations and the politics of the office environment, and I then had to adapt quickly to the drastic changes of the Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown. It was during this time, recognising the disruption to my routine, hyperfocusing on work outside of my core hours, and my inability to finish any tasks to completion, that I realised something wasn’t working for my brain.
Throughout my career, I’ve recognised that I was struggling, but never quite understood why. I saw so much of my own journey in the struggles I heard from other neurodiverse people, and I wanted to find a way that I could tangibly make a difference. After my own diagnosis in early 2024, I was inspired to become an ADHD Coach with Leanne Maskell's ADHD Works, and led to me being headhunted for Inclusive Change Ltd as Support Specialist.

The world of fitness is changing, and it’s about time. For too long, traditional training approaches have left neurodivergent individuals overlooked, creating unnecessary barriers to health and wellness. But what if you could be part of the change?
Introducing Inclusive Fitness: Neurodiversity & Exercise—a first-of-its-kind training program that equips coaches, leaders, and fitness professionals with the tools to make fitness truly accessible. This is more than just a course; it’s a movement to empower the neurodiverse community and transform the way we approach health and fitness.
As someone who has lived with Tourette’s syndrome for 27 years, coached over 100 neurodivergent clients worldwide, and navigated the highs and lows of both fitness and life, I’ve seen the gaps in our industry firsthand. Neurodivergent individuals face unique challenges, but their potential is limitless when supported correctly.
This course brings together everything I’ve learned from my personal journey, professional achievements, and even the failures that have shaped my approach. It’s a comprehensive resource designed to address the real-world needs of neurodivergent clients while giving fitness professionals the skills to create lasting change.
Inclusive Fitness is an 8-module training program that goes beyond the basics. It’s designed to provide actionable insights, practical strategies, and confidence for working with neurodivergent clients. Here’s what makes it special:
• Fitness professionals looking to expand their expertise.
• Health coaches who want to make their practices more inclusive.
• Leaders in gyms, studios, and fitness facilities seeking to create welcoming environments.
Each module dives deep into topics that matter, such as:
• Understanding neurodiversity and its impact on exercise.
• Adapting fitness programs for clients with autism, ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome, and more.
• Practical tips for creating sensory-friendly environments.
• Communication strategies to build trust and connection.
• The business benefits of inclusivity and expanding your client base.
Because fitness is for everyone. Neurodivergent individuals deserve spaces where they feel safe, empowered, and understood. By gaining the knowledge and skills this course provides, you’ll not only make a difference in your clients’ lives—you’ll also enhance your own professional impact and expertise.
Imagine creating a fitness space where every client—no matter their neurological makeup—feels welcome, supported, and capable of achieving their goals. Think of the confidence you could build, the trust you could foster, and the lives you could change.
This course isn’t just about building your skills; it’s about building a better future for the neurodiverse community.
This course is the culmination of hard work, collaboration, and a shared belief that fitness should be accessible to all. Together with Lucy Smith and the team at Inclusive Change Ltd, we’ve created a resource that will redefine inclusivity in the fitness world.
