'Specific Learning Difficulties' - Neuroteachers founder, Catrina Lowri, guided the audience through some of the challenges teachers and carers of neurodivergent young people may face. She offered her expertise and shared valuable insights on navigating these complex needs effectively.

'Practical OT strategies for children with sensory processing needs' – Therapy Space offered expert advice on sensory processing strategies

Each presentation not only informed but also inspired, reminding us all of the critical need for inclusivity and support in our communities.

From organisers Bristol Parent Carers to Bristol Autism Support, bibic and many others, the shared commitment to improving the lives of children with complex needs was evident at every turn. The atmosphere was one of genuine collaboration - with many meaningful, and sometimes emotional, conversations highlighting just how challenging it can be to navigate the world when you have children with additional needs.

Throughout the day, Lucy and I engaged with numerous individuals whose stories were both touching and powerful. These conversations underscored the everyday struggles faced by families and the vital importance of having robust, supportive networks. The emotional exchanges were a testament to the resilience of those navigating life with complex needs - and they reinforced our commitment to making a difference to their futures.
